After a whole week of rumors and speculations on social media, the American singer and songwriter Lady Gaga performed at the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony. Lady Gaga delivered a dazzling performance of Jeanmaire’s “Mon Truc en Plumes” which translates to “My Thing With Feathers”. The song Gaga performed was made famous to the American music platter when Zizi Jeanmaire performed it on “The Ed Sullivan Show”
The iconic Singer who had been spotted in the host city for the past few days stunned the spectators and fans with not only her dressing but also her voice. She was accompanied by 8 dancers who shut down the stage at Paris’ river Seine where the opening ceremony was going down

Taking to her account on X, Gaga has expressed her gratitude to the Olympics organizing committee for the opportunity to perform on such a big platform. She also noted that the song she performing to celebrate the art and culture in France.
” I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organizing committee to sing such a special French song—a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre”
She has also expressed her love and special connection with the French. She says that she owed one to them by giving them a lovely experience while performing the song.

Lady Gaga and her 8 dancers were in black and pink costume which she says were custom made by Dior. she adds that having studied French choreography, she added a modern twist to a French classic hence the masterpiece.
